How To Make Lasagna
Coming from an Italian family, I am very picky on pasta. I have yet to find a good lasagna that I didn't make myself. Why add all those special ingredients and risk your kids not liking it? Follow this recipe and I promise that your kids as well as you will love it!
You will need:
  • Lasagna dish/pan
  • 1 Box of Lasagna shells
  • 1 1/2 big bottles of Prego
  • Big bag of shredded cheese or two smaller ones (The ones from Costco work great)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef.
Cook the lasagna shells in water until soft. While lasagna shells are cooking, cook the ground beef until fully brown. Drain the lasagna shells and start warming the Prego. Add the meat to the sauce. Once your sauce is warmed, it's time to start layering. Take your lasagna dish and add a thin layer of the meat sauce. Then add the lasagna shells (normally 3 side by side will work) followed by sauce, then cover that in cheese. Repeat that process until you are out of shells. It is up to you how much cheese and sauce you want to use but I never skimp out on it since my family love extra sauce and cheese.

Preheat the oven to 350. Once it is heated, cook for 30 minutes. It is ready to go from there.

I hope you enjoy that.

THE PATH OF THE GODS: HIKING THE AMALFI COAST’S MOST GORGEOUS TREK I see my path, but I don’t know where it leads. Not knowing where I’m going is what inspires me to travel it. – Rosalia de Castro Sure, I knew that the  Path of the Gods  — also known as  Il Sentiero degli Dei —  technically  led to Positano; however, I had no idea what adventure truly lay ahead. A lot of people tout the pathway as one of the top active Italy adventures and a must-do when hiking the Amalfi Coast. And there is good reason for this. If you’re researching things to do in the Amalfi Coast, I will tell you, as someone who has now experienced the Path of the Gods trail for herself, it is definitely NOT overrated While trying to research how to hike the Path of the Gods, my boyfriend Andy and I found a plethora of information on available tours, but not really a step-by-step guide with a personal account of the experience. So, I decided to create one myself. Trust me; you won’t wan...

Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Good old-fashioned chicken Parmesan gets the skillet treatment in this one-pot dish. Serve with rice or spaghetti for comfort food at its finest—and fastest! One of the first classic Italian dishes I mastered was a traditional chicken Parmesan. It’s a special dish but does require some serious work. A classic chicken Parmesan recipe will probably take a few hours to fry, bake, and clean up. As a reward, however, it’ll make a huge amount of food. This Skillet Chicken Parmesan has all the same flavors as the traditional version, but is ready in much less time. Plus, everything is made in one oven-safe skillet! Can you say  easy cleanup ?! EASY CHICKEN PARM IN ONE SKILLET The only thing you need to make this recipe happen is a good oven-safe skillet for cooking everything. I use a cast iron skillet with high sides. First, I bread and then lightly fry the chicken on the stove top in a little olive oil. You could use any oil you have, but I like the flavor olive oil gives. Jus...
